The French forces are finally summoned, the first batch of figures, a battle group of Swiss halberdiers or pikes, have arrived from figurspelsbutiken.se. And it way with a bit of childish joy that I(okay a lot of childish joy then), opened the blisters with miniatures in.
My first batch consisted in figures from Mirliton S.G:

But after a quick look at the figures I.R.L. I decided only to go with the C003 and C018 figures in mixed mode. The C033 blister where good looking rely, but they would create problems when ranking them in close combat, yes I do intend to engage them in close combat from time to time. They will not be forgotten and probably be used in other projects, perhaps I can get hold of some new weapons for the besides the pikes they were delivered with.
Status so far the pikes are freed of casting flesh, washed, “piked”, base coated(black) and mounted on 40*15 mm bases upon which I added gravel from Games Workshop.

The new troops have just arrived and is mustering on my workbench waitning to clening and washing, thats the plans for to night.

The last of the forces have arrived, all but the Swiss handgunners have been cleand and basecoted. Work is progressing, slov but there are progress.
